Diffuser with microperforated EPDM membrane: mounted on a weighted stainless steel base, this aerator is to be placed at the bottom of the pool (height 15 cm) or in a bottom drain 110 mm (height 22 cm)

This membrane causes a column of fine bubbles: when the air pump is stopped, the pores of the membrane close, thus preventing the intrusion of polluting agents.

The opening of the pores taking place under the impulses of the pump, the bacterial biofilm cannot easily be deposited, which avoids the usual clogging of ordinary diffusers.

The convection movement created by this aerator is excellent for oxygenating the pool. The lower layers of water are thus raised on the surface by convection effect, and are enriched in oxygen by the air/water interface.

The goal is therefore not to oxygenate the pool mainly thanks to the air bubbles emitted by this diffuser (the bubbles that rise do not have time to release a lot of oxygen anyway!) but to oxygenate the basin by convection effect.

The minimum recommended flow rate is 20 l/min per meter of pool depth: in summer, the flow rate must of course be adapted.

The bottom drain shown in the photo is sold separately!

This diffuser is designed to be inserted into an existing drain (110 mm Pro drain sold on our site)

Attention: only the model with a height of 22 cm is suitable for a main drain!
