But if the terms Wi-Fi or Internet connection disagree with you, be aware that this filter can still work without the need for an Internet connection: Internet connection at the location of the control is required once to configure the controller and activate optional accessories. .

If you want to use the control without a WLAN connection, you can also order it pre-configured "ex works".

The Inazuma ITF drum filter from the SEPTEM range filters your pond thoroughly, reliably and fully automatically. It allows the mechanical cleaning of the water with a very fine filtration. When cleaning the water from the drum, particles larger than 50 microns are pushed aside and sent to the sewer! Optional UVC disinfection is also effective in combating algae.

The massive construction of stainless steel V4A (1.4571) makes the Inazuma ITF reliable for many years to come.

The ITF Septem model can be used in both gravity and pumping mode (see diagrams below).
This filter does not have a biological chamber: you can either recover your bio filter if you already have one, otherwise a biological chamber is available as an option.

The gas strut mounted cover allows easy access to the filter, the V4A stainless steel body ensures long lasting quality.

All filters of the SEPTEM series are delivered with the WebCSA controller allowing switching on / off and control of the filter and optional equipment such as UVC disinfection, level compensator, temperature probe, etc.

What are the differences from the Katan series ?

The Septem series has a connected WebCSA V2 controller, (Android and iOS) that's one of the big differences.

This series includes gas jacks on the cover which is reversible, a regularly rinsed waste evacuation chute (speed flush), an anti-splash screen, the clean-brush system (brush that regularly cleans the edges of the chute) etc

For those who don't know this filter works

The filter consists mainly of a tank in which is housed a rotating drum: this drum is coated with a 50 micron (0.05 mm) filter membrane on its periphery.

Dirty water from the basin is directed into the interior of the drum, and to leave this filter, water must pass through the membrane filter.

The water in the basin, which is free of particles, comes out of the filter and is directed to the external biological part.

As the dirty water passes through the drum, the particles settle out, blocking the small holes in the membrane, which gradually clogs.

The passage of water is slowed down, causing a difference in level between downstream and upstream of the sieve.

At this time, the detection system starts a drum cleaning cycle. From this moment, the drum turns very slowly and the nozzles placed on the upper part (outer side of the drum) project water jets on the filter membrane: under the pressure of the water, the smallest dirt is expelled from the filter membrane.

This dirt is collected in a gutter and directed to the sewer. The upstream / downstream water level is restored until the next cycle.

This cleaning is minimalist: it only occurs when necessary.

The WebCSA controller works without internet or app for drum control but network connection is required for advanced options.
