The thread is sealed with PTFE tape.
After testing for compatibility and pressure resistance, a plastic sealant may also be suitable.
Tighten the fitting first by hand and then screw an additional turn using an appropriate tool.
Avoid excessive tightening which may cause deformation of the thread.
