SuperSieve prefilter XL

The SuperSieve XL operates in gravity mode.

The water is piped 110 mm from the basin to the SuperSieve.

The amount of water that enters the prefilter is regulated by a float.

When the water level rises in the prefilter, the valve closes a little more through the float, thus allowing less water to flow.

A balance is thus obtained between the water that enters and the water that is pumped, which maintains a constant water level under the grid, in the prefilter.

The water that falls through the stainless steel grate is cleaned of dirt larger than 300 microns.

The water can then be directed to biological filtration by a pump that draws water kept level under the grate.

> possibility of safely placing an Air-Aqua immersion UV in the lower part of the pre-filter. Easy to assemble (with 25 x 32 mm soft sleeve) the UV lamp is supported internally in the SuperSieve.

The pre-filter has a double bottom so that water does not fall on the UV lamp: this avoids any risk of breakage. For models M and L, 1 UV lamp of max. 75 watts can be placed. For the XL model, 3 UV lamps of max. 75 watts can be placed.

As a prefilter, upstream of a multi-chamber filter.
