Drum filter Inazuma Quantum 300 BioKompakt

The Inazuma Quantum 300 BioKompakt drum filter filters your pond thoroughly, reliably and fully automatically. This model is suitable for operating a Koi pond of up to 160 m³.

The performance of large drum filters is now also available for the garden pond. The installation, the complicated connection, it's over. From now on, small garden ponds can be equipped with SIMPLE automatic filtration that works continuously with the characteristics of large drum filters.

The Quantum 300 BioKompakt model allows the mechanical and biological filtration of water with very high filtration fineness. When cleaning the water through the drum, particles larger than 50 microns are retained by the stainless steel screen.

The massive V2A stainless steel construction makes the Inazuma a solid and reliable machine for many years. With an unparalleled finish!

The Quantum 300 BioKompakt model can be used both in pumping mode and in gravity mode (see diagrams below).
The removable lid allows easy access to the filter, the V2A stainless steel body guarantees long-lasting quality.

All Quantum series filters come with a simple and ingenious controller featuring a Clever V8 microprocessor: you plug in the plug and you're done.

A single simple configuration is required: pumping mode or gravity mode, and that's it!
The filter is also equipped with manual rinsing.

The supply of spare parts guaranteed directly by the manufacturer ensures long-term peace of mind (10 years) with a solid filter requiring little maintenance.

And with the quality "Made in Germany" the 2-year warranty is included

A pre-mounted bracket is also included but not the UVC lamp(s).

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES WITH THE SEPTEM SERIES?

There are 4 differences:

1. The Quantum series does not have a WebCSA connected controller: its regulation is simplified and nevertheless allows automatic operation.

2. Quantum filters: completely in stainless steel V2A (1.4301- / Septem filters completely in stainless steel V4A (1.4571)

NB: INOX V2A (1.4301) is an austenitic stainless steel which is used in the construction of apparatus and machines as well as in the food industry or the medical field.

3. Gas springs installed on Quantum 300 and 400 models and all Quantum BioKompakt / Gas springs on all Septem models.

4. Finally, the number of times the chute is rinsed is factory-set to two cycles per day (the sieve itself is rinsed as needed automatically by the level sensors, of course).

While on Septem models, the number and duration of chute rinses can be modified via smartphone.

FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW HOW THIS FILTER WORKS.

The filter mainly consists of a tank in which is housed a rotating drum: this drum is coated with a 50 micron (0.05 mm) filtering membrane on its periphery.

Dirty water from the basin is directed inside the drum and, to leave this filter, the water must pass through the filter membrane. The pond water, which is freed from particles, then passes into the biological chamber of the filter.

As the dirty water passes through the drum, the particles settle, blocking the small holes in the membrane, which gradually clogs.

The passage of water is slowed down, which causes a difference in level between the downstream and the upstream of the sieve.

At this time, the detection system starts a drum cleaning cycle. From this moment, the drum rotates very slowly and the nozzles arranged on the upper part (external side of the drum) project jets of water on the filtering membrane: under the pressure of the water, the smallest dirt is expelled from the filter membrane.

This dirt is collected in a gutter and directed outside the filter. The upstream/downstream water level is restored until the next cycle.

This cleaning is of a minimalist type: it only occurs when necessary: the consumption of water and electricity is therefore negligible.

This model includes a mechanical filter AND a biological chamber for the moving bed (chamber with Hel-X 17)

The free transport of this article does not apply since the transport is imperatively on pallet and not by simple parcel.
